Club / Grass Roots Coaching Programme
We are very proud of our Grass Roots coaching programme as, unlike some other perfromance cetnres, it gives us a chance to take badminton coaching into schools and the local community.
The Academy's Grass Roots coaching programme delivers quality badminton coaching to primary and secondary school children. The programme is designed to introduce players to the game and to build basic skills so that children continue to enjoy the game in later life or show a potential for the game and progress through our developmental pyramid. Please refer to our current coaching programme for all of our grass roots sessions.
Academy Cells
Academy Cell coaching is for improving players to develop further. These sessions are located in and around schools that have grass roots coaching and provide a local quality group for players with potential to move up into.
The cost of each session is currently £6 but this reduces to £5 if a half-term block booking is made. Feather shuttles are used for all sessions.
